Cookie Policy

PT | EN | ES

1 - In this policy, we will establish the rules for the processing of personal data associated with cookies used in browsing the corporate website of Plenatech, in accordance with applicable laws.

This document is associated with Plenatech's Corporate Governance Policy and Privacy Policy, and it reinforces the organization's commitment to ensuring that the relationship between Plenatech and DATA SUBJECTS is guided by the principles of purpose, adequacy, necessity, free access, data quality, transparency, security, prevention, non-discrimination, accountability, and reporting in relation to all personal data processing activities that we carry out as the Controller, in compliance with Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD - Law No. 13.709/18).

2 - What are cookies

Before we go on to the rules and commitments, it is important to establish the definition of cookies.

Cookies are small text files used to store small pieces of information. They are stored on your device when Plenatech's website is loaded in your browser. These cookies assist us in making the website function correctly, enhancing its security, ensuring a better user experience, understanding how the website operates, analyzing what works, and identifying areas that require improvement.

As defined globally (both by the Brazilian LGPD and the European GDPR), cookies should be considered personal data and, therefore, must be used (processed) in accordance with the General Data Protection Law (LGPD - Law No. 13.709/18). It is worth noting that cookies are considered personal data, as it is possible to identify the people who browse the websites that use them based on the analysis of the information collected via cookies.

It is important to understand that there are cookies considered strictly necessary, meaning that it is impossible to navigate any website without using them, as they are associated with the current architecture of how the internet functions. Other cookies are optional, and even without using them, it is possible to navigate websites.

Furthermore, cookies are classified based on their duration:

i. Session: These are temporary and remain until the web page or the browser is closed. They can be used to analyze internet traffic patterns and provide a better experience and context-specific content to DATA SUBJECTS.

ii. Persistent: These persist even after the browser has been closed. They can be used to remember login and password information for DATA SUBJECTS, for example, or to ensure a better user experience across different sessions.

On the Plenatech website, we use two types of cookies:

1. Strictly Necessary: These are cookies necessary for you to navigate our website and use its features as you wish. Strictly necessary cookies do not collect or store any information about you that would allow for your identification while you browse the Plenatech website.
